The Science Behind Our Meals
Curado meals are designed with a mix of carbohydrates, protein, and fats for well-rounded nutrition. They also include an array of vitamins and minerals, which are essential nutrients for overall health.*

Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are found in fruits, grains, vegetables, and dairy, and can be categorized as either simple carbs or complex carbs. Simple carbs are quickly processed, while the body takes longer to digest and absorb complex carbs.

Proteins
Protein is crucial for various body functions like hair growth, enzyme and organ
function, and hormone production. When you eat protein, it breaks down into amino acids, which are essential for your body. There are 20 different types of amino acids.

Fat
Your body requires dietary fat as a macronutrient for optimal health. Besides enhancing the taste and texture of food, fat is a valuable source of calories and energy. Essential fatty acids help support immunity, cell signaling, mood, and brain health.
